NAVA 11 / ICV 7

NAVA 11/ICV 7: Washington, District of Columbia, USA
George Washington University
June 10–14, 1977

The NAVA 11 / ICV 7 Flag:

This special flag, designed by Steve Stringfellow of Chicago, shows the NAVA colors (blue, red, and white) in an abstract emblem resembling a lowercase "n", the "77" in 1977, and the number "11" displayed on a blue field.  The selection jury, appointed at the NAVA meeting at Baltimore, comprised Paul Chadbourne Mills, director of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, who acted as chairman; Anders Holmquist, artist and flag designer of New York City; and James Clark of Bel Air, Maryland.
