The NAVA 35 Flag: The NAVA 35 flag was designed by Secundino Fernandez.  The "V" in Virginia and the NAVA chevron are combined in the canton area of the flag.  The background is blue, like Virginia's, and the design incorporates elements of the flag of Hampton Roads.

Significant Events:

  • The banquet's keynote address was an interesting lecture and slide show by Rebecca Rose on flag conservation and the flag restoration work being done at the nearby Museum of the Confederacy (now the American Civil War Museum).

The Featured Tours:

Participants of NAVA 35 enjoyed a rather wet and wild guided tour of the triad of nearby Virginia historical sites: Yorktown, Williamsburg, and Jamestown.
